The HDS & MDS Series Bypass Valve 12V is built for use with high-performance bent axis piston pumps such as HDS-40, 47, 55, 64, & MDS-80. It’s the ideal solution for live drive hydraulic systems where the pump runs continuously—even when hydraulic demand drops.

Perfect for rear-engine PTO (REPTO) and constant-mesh live drive systems, this bypass valve prevents system pressure spikes, energy loss, and heat build-up by partially recirculating flow internally when the vehicle is idling or operating under low load.

Whether your pump is mounted directly to a continuously running power take-off or engine coupling, the bypass valve ensures efficient cooling and extends pump life—especially in systems with no clutch or disengagement capability.
